4 rib fillet steak or your favourite cut of steak.
Panfry steak to your liking.
Blue vein cheese sauce
Ingredients
½ cup of thickened cream
25g of chilled butter, cubed
1 egg yolk
¼ cup of blue vein cheese
2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
1. Combine the cream, blue vein cheese, egg yolk, salt & pepper a saucepan
2. Stir over medium heat gradually adding the butter, one cube at a time whisking until it melts and incorporates before adding the next cube
3. Continue until all is incorporated and the sauce thickens and heats through add lemon juice now
Serve with steak and vegetables
